About Meet Before

Most of what makes an event worth attending is the people. Most of what we have to find them is a badge, a crowded hallway and a group chat nobody reads. The talks are recorded. The conversations are not.

Meet Before is a small, deliberate attempt to fix that. You join an event early, say what you’re working on and who you hope to meet, and each day we introduce you to a handful of people with a clear reason why. Both of you opt in before anything opens. On the day, you can see who you already know is here and actually find them. Afterwards, what you built stays with you.

We care about a few things more than growth: introductions that explain themselves, consent before contact, presence that is a status you set rather than a location we track, and private notes that stay private. Organizers get aggregate insight into how their event connected people, never the conversations themselves.
